In 2012, Javier and Arlene Orozco established Green Dazzle Boutique, a children’s store specializing in natural and organic products. The family business was a source of pride for the couple, who were determined to keep it running for as long as possible. However, their youngest son Zane’s severe eczema posed a significant challenge to their efforts.
Zane’s skin condition made caring for him difficult, with him often waking up from naps with bloody sheets and blankets. The high cost of medical treatment for Zane was another challenge the family faced, especially since they did not have health insurance. Balancing the financial needs of the store with Zane’s medical expenses was daunting.
Despite these challenges, the Orozcos remained grateful for the time spent at their store, which held sentimental value to them. They felt that their children grew up in the store and that it was a special place to them. To help cover Zane’s medical costs, the Orozcos set up a GoFundMe page where people could donate to support the family. The fundraising page aimed to alleviate some of the financial burdens they faced due to Zane’s condition.
The Orozcos were overwhelmed by the support they received from their customers and community members through their GoFundMe page. The fundraising campaign helped cover some of Zane’s medical expenses and gave hope to his parents that they could continue running their beloved business while also taking care of their son’s health needs.
Green Dazzle Boutique is now thriving, thanks in part to the hard work and determination of Javier and Arlene Orozco. Their commitment to providing natural and organic products for children has only grown stronger over time, inspiring many families in their community.
