In Texas, everything is bigger and this holds true for the gas stations. The largest Buc-ee’s location in the world opened its doors in Luling, Texas early Monday morning. Spanning over 75,000 square feet and offering 120 fuel pumps, this location is a testament to the growth of the Buc-ee’s brand throughout Texas and the South.
This opening marks the 50th Buc-ee’s location across Texas and the South. The Director of Real Estate and Development, Stan Beard, expressed excitement about the opening of the world’s largest Buc-ee’s travel center in Texas, especially since this particular location is where it all began. The new store in Luling is replacing the original Buc-ee’s travel center that was built in 2003 and is situated between Austin and San Antonio.
Interestingly, almost a year prior to this opening, the world’s smallest Buc-ee’s art installation appeared in Sanderson, Texas about 370 miles away. This milestone shows the growth and expansion of the Buc-ee’s brand throughout Texas and the South.
