In addition to his accolades as a four-time NBA champion and the league’s all-time 3-point leader, Curry has made a name for himself as a connoisseur of kernels.
Frequently seen enjoying popcorn on the team plane and in various arenas across the country, Curry’s love for popcorn is well-known. In 2019, he even released his own ranking of every NBA arena’s popcorn quality. Clearly, the man knows his kernels.
As if being an NBA superstar and a popcorn expert were not impressive enough, Curry now has the added responsibility of updating his list of popcorn rankings to include the Intuit Dome popcorn. Given his expertise and attention to detail, it is safe to assume that the Intuit Dome popcorn will rank highly on his list in the future.
In a testament to his expertise, the group behind the food at the Los Angeles Clippers’ new Intuit Dome arena sought Curry’s opinion on their popcorn. CEO of Halo Sports and Entertainment Gillian Zucker explained that Curry was consulted because of his reputation as the ultimate expert in popcorn. He tasted about 10 different options and provided feedback on what makes good popcorn – a satisfying crunch, a butterfly shape, and a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
