The San Rafael Pacifics experienced their first loss of the season on Thursday night in a thrilling 11-9 defeat at the hands of the Dublin Leprechauns. The Pacifics, who are now 5-1, led 5-3 before Dublin staged a comeback with four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to take the lead. In response, San Rafael scored four runs of their own in the top of the ninth, but Dublin wasn’t done yet.

Meanwhile, in another game on Thursday night, the Novato Knicks lost their first game of a two-game series against the Sonoma Stompers, 4-0. The Knicks will host the Fairfield Indians for a Sunday doubleheader at San Marin High School.
