Andre Jones, a Chicago man who has been living at a residential home operated by Envision Unlimited for the past two years, has opened up about his mental health journey in a unique way. Jones has created a coloring book memoir titled “Colorful Memoirs: A Journey Through Andre’s Life” to share his experiences and raise awareness about mental health issues. Proceeds from the sale of the book go towards supporting Envision Unlimited’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities.

Jones and Treena Glover, the Residential House Manager at Envision Unlimited, recently sat down with ABC7 to discuss the book and its impact. They shared how the coloring book serves as a platform for Jones to share his experiences and inspire others to open up about their own mental health struggles and seek the support they need.

The coloring book is now available for purchase on Amazon, with proceeds going towards Envision’s summer cycling program. Jones hopes that by sharing his story through this creative outlet, he can help others find comfort in expressing themselves creatively and seeking support when needed.
