Rory Feely, a defender for Barrow, has secured a new contract with the League Two club. Feely is known for his impressive long-throw abilities and has proven himself as a valuable member of the team. The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal with an option for another year after being initially announced as one of the ten players being released at the end of their contracts.

Feely joined Barrow from Bohemians in January 2023 and has made 43 appearances for the club during his time there. However, due to his unique qualities on the field, he was retained by the team’s sporting director, Iain Wood. Feely’s contributions during the previous season made it clear that he still had a valuable role to play within the team, leading to his new contract. Despite initial plans to let him go, Feely proved that he was worth keeping on board.
