Sarah Becker, who was best known for her appearance on MTV’s “The Real World,” has tragically passed away at the age of 52 by suicide. A family member confirmed this news to TMZ, revealing that she died at her home in Illinois last week.

In recent months, Sarah had been struggling with mental health issues while caring for her ailing mother and sister. Her troubles were compounded by a skateboarding accident. Despite these challenges, Sarah rose to fame during her appearance on the fifth season of “The Real World” in Miami in 1996. At the time, she was a 25-year-old comic bookstore worker from La Jolla, California.

During her season on the show, Sarah brought a puppy back to the house, which fans may remember from the 13th episode. Her season was also memorable as the cast was given a season-long task to start a business with $50,000, but conflicts and disorganization led to their efforts failing.

Sarah’s family described her as a selfless person who always cared for others but struggled to care for herself. They are mourning her loss and asking everyone to remember her kindness and generosity.
