The Chicago Bears are set to be featured in the popular sports documentary series Hard Knocks this summer. The series will premiere on HBO on August 6, airing on Tuesday nights as announced by the NFL. This year, the Bears were chosen from a pool of three potential teams – the Broncos and Saints were also in consideration.

The selection of the Bears may be influenced by the presence of quarterback Caleb Williams, who was picked first overall in the 2024 NFL draft. Both the Bears and the NFL are hopeful that Williams will become a standout player in the league, making this an early opportunity for fans to become familiar with him.

In addition to the Bears’ feature, this year will also include an offseason edition of Hard Knocks highlighting the New York Giants in July. The season will culminate with an in-season series focusing on all four teams from a single division.
