In this event, a new class of Wunderkinds will be highlighted as they begin their careers in the fields of science and medicine. These emerging stars will share their most innovative ideas with past Wunderkinds who will also be featured in a conversation.

The event will feature sponsor introductions from Lauren Averett Byers, M.D., and Koichi Takahashi, M.D., Ph.D., both from MD Anderson Cancer Center. The speakers for the event include Nicole M. Gaudelli, Ph.D., an entrepreneur at GV who invented the Adenine Base Editor, a gene-editing tool; Kellie Jurado, Ph.D., a professor at the University of Pennsylvania researching immune system response to viral infections in early life; Bianca Jones Marlin, Ph.D., from Columbia University investigating the inheritance of trauma and stress biologically; and Siddhartha Roy, Ph.D., from Rutgers University focusing on ensuring safe drinking water access for all in light of the Flint Water Crisis.
