Lawn Care for Teens: Empowering Future Entrepreneurs

Student Startup’s Raising Men & Women Lawn Care program aims to teach teens the skills needed to provide lawn care services, start their own businesses, and become successful adults. The program is led by Eli Isaacs, who focuses on using lawn mowing as a way to help teenage boys transition into manhood and build confidence in their abilities.

The program involves teens mowing lawns for free for people in need. Once they have completed 50 lawns, they earn $500 worth of mowing equipment to start their own business. Darius Hancock, a freshman participant, has found the program to be both fun and educational in learning about mowing and running a business. He plans to use his newfound skills to launch his own mowing company in the future.

Similarly, Jaquin Santivanez has found value in the program by learning about giving back to the community and helping those in need. Liam Ramsey also sees the program as an opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives through volunteering and mentoring. Through this program, students develop skills in mowing lawns and running businesses while also learning valuable lessons about community service and helping others. Participants express satisfaction with their ability to give back to the community and improve the lives of others through their work.

Overall, Student Startup’s Raising Men & Women Lawn Care program is an excellent way for teens to gain valuable skills while making a positive impact on their communities. By providing free lawn care services and earning equipment to start their own businesses, students can learn essential life lessons that will benefit them well into adulthood.
