Patrick Mahomes has a half-brother, Graham Walker, who has recently transferred to Rice University to pursue a career in football. While this news may come as a surprise to many, it highlights the fact that the talented Mahomes family has another member with dreams of making it to the NFL.

Walker, who is the biological son of Pat Mahomes Sr., was primarily raised by his mother Jessamyn Walker and stepfather Gerry Howatt. Despite his unique family situation, Walker has shown a strong passion for the game and is determined to follow in his brother’s footsteps. In an interview with Fox 4 in Kansas City earlier this year, Mahomes Sr. praised Walker for his dedication to the sport and credited his upbringing for instilling a strong work ethic in him.

Mahomes Sr. revealed that Walker has his sights set on making it to the NFL and that Patrick is fully supportive of his younger brother’s aspirations. In fact, Patrick has even offered to help Walker improve his skills during the offseason by throwing passes to him and working on routes together. This support from his brother has been invaluable to Walker as he navigates his collegiate football career at Rice.

Having played at Brown University for the past three seasons, Walker is now gearing up for the challenge of competing at a higher level of college football at Rice. With one more year of eligibility remaining, Walker is hopeful that his time at Rice will help him showcase his talents and attract attention from NFL scouts. With the guidance and encouragement of Patrick Mahomes, Walker is determined to make a name for himself in the world of football.
