Tony McFarr, a talented stunt performer known for his work as a stunt double for Chris Pratt in various films, passed away at the age of 47. His death was confirmed by his mother to TMZ and was reported on the website of the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Merritt Island, Fla. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.

McFarr began his career as a stunt performer in the early 2010s, working on high-profile movies such as “Jurassic World,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” and “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” He also doubled for Pratt in the film “Passengers.” His resume includes a wide range of blockbusters and Marvel movies like “Captain America: Civil War,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” and more.

Born Antonio Gerard McFarr on October 12, 1976, McFarr had a few acting roles on TV shows like “Burn Notice,” “One Tree Hill,” and “Army Wives,” but his primary focus was on stunt work. He also doubled for actors like Jon Hamm in “Tag” and Brendan Fraser in “The Poison Rose.” His extensive list of credits includes movies such as “Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,” “Pitch Perfect 3,” “Logan Lucky,” and TV shows like “The Walking Dead,” “Creepshow”, “Manhunt” and “The Gifted.”
