Manning, a native of Glendale, Arizona, has been officially released from the Carolina Panthers’ injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday. The former Apollo High School standout had excelled on both the football and basketball teams, as well as the track and field squad.

After high school, Manning went on to play college football at the University of Hawaii, where he earned First-team All-MW honors during his fifth year as a left tackle. In 2023, he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers before being signed by the Panthers off their practice squad in late December.

This is not the first time that Manning has been released by the Panthers this offseason. He was initially let go back on May 10th before being reinstated onto their roster later in the month. Despite facing setbacks and challenges along his journey from high school standout to college star to NFL undrafted free agent, Manning’s determination and passion for the game have shone through throughout his career.
