Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Cherokee Nation citizen Lindy Waters III to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for pick 52 in the 2024 NBA Draft. The trade was announced on June 26 by Shams Charania. After completing a four-year college career at Oklahoma State University, Waters joined the Oklahoma City Blue in October 2021. He signed a two-way contract with the Thunder in February 2022, which was later converted into a multi-year standard contract in February 2023.
