During the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway, several teams experienced internet connectivity issues, as reported by Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic. This has resulted in these teams losing access to their SMT data, a problem that was also seen during last year’s race at the same location. However, despite this challenge, the focus of the event has shifted to Christopher Bell’s dominating performance.

Bell, who started second, overtook Michael McDowell for the lead towards the end of Stage 1 and has maintained his position at the front of the pack ever since. Kyle Busch briefly took the lead at the start of Stage 2, but Bell quickly reclaimed it and went on to win both stages. Bell’s recent success extends beyond this race, as he has secured four consecutive stage victories dating back to the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In that race, Bell was declared the winner after rain forced a premature end.

All eyes are on Bell’s continued dominance in the field, even as some teams struggle with internet issues. This story is still unfolding.
