Noa Argamani, one of the 120 hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, was released on Saturday along with three others following a major military operation by the Israeli army. Images of her kidnapping during Hamas’ terrorist attack on October 7 had circulated worldwide.

On the day of the attack, Noa Argamani unwittingly became a symbol of the deadly incident. Her cries for mercy as she was dragged away by terrorists had horrified her family, loved ones, and the Israeli people. Almost 245 days later, her release brought relief and hope to the families of others who were still being held in Gaza.

Noa Argamani, a student at Ben-Gurion University, had attended the Nova Music Festival with her boyfriend when the tragic incident occurred. Hamas militants attacked the festival, resulting in numerous casualties. Noa was abducted and taken to the Gaza Strip against her will.

Her father, Yaakov, had seen news of her disappearance and had been anxiously waiting for her release. Finally, after months of uncertainty, he was able to reunite with his daughter. Noa and the other freed hostages underwent medical examinations at Sheba Tel-HaShomer medical center after their release.
