Gavin Reynolds, a 49-year-old butcher from a small village, has set a new world record for the number of sausages made in one minute. He successfully filled and linked together 83 Lincolnshire sausages in just 60 seconds, earning him the prestigious Guinness World Record title. After receiving his official certificate, Gavin expressed his excitement and pride over the achievement.

Gavin has been running J W Baxter Butchers in Clifton, Beds for the past 24 years, making him well-equipped for such an impressive feat. He attributes his success to over 30 years of experience in sausage-making and his determination to beat Barry John Crowe from Ireland, who previously held the record.

Through dedicated practice and countless hours perfecting his craft, Gavin was able to surpass the previous record of 78 sausages made in one minute. His dedication to his work, passed down from his family who were also butchers, has clearly paid off.

In order to secure his world record, Gavin organized witnesses and a timekeeper for his record-breaking attempt on January 17. However, he faced challenges when he found out that adjudicator’s fees were too high. In response, Gavin took matters into his own hands to ensure everything was done correctly. Now that he has earned his Guinness World Record certificate, Gavin plans to proudly display it in
