Luis Schilling had a privileged upbringing as the son of a senior executive of the former Banco Río, which provided him with a good education and a drive for self-improvement. As a natural entrepreneur, he has always been forward-thinking and focused on the future while addressing present challenges. His entrepreneurial journey began when he started his first venture, Palermitano Solutions, while studying design at the UBA. Moving to Silicon Valley was a turning point for him as he immersed himself in a culture of innovation and risk-taking. Despite facing setbacks, such as the demise of his first company due to the pandemic, Schilling persevered and launched another venture, We Install IT, focusing on technology installation services.

We Install IT evolved into the Rahi Latam division, generating significant revenues and catching the attention of American company Wesco, which acquired it. Despite facing challenges and being displaced from a new structure, Schilling continued to innovate and launched Tropical IT, an e-commerce platform serving the tech needs of Latin American and US companies.

Schilling’s dedication to simplifying the technology purchasing experience has led to the success of Tropical IT, which operates in multiple Latin American countries. Additionally, his other venture, We Install It
