Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has recently released his Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions) project on May 13. In light of this release, he has announced plans for his global The New World Tour. The tour will feature Willow and Amaarae as opening acts and marks Gambino’s first tour since 2018.

The Artist Presale for The New World Tour began on May 15, with general ticket sales starting on May 17. The tour will cover locations in North America, Australia, and Europe. After touring U.S. cities like Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and more, Gambino will head overseas to perform in countries such as Italy, Belgium, the U.K., and Germany.

Atavista features 11 tracks and is an updated version of his previously unfinished project from March 2020. The album includes collaborations with artists like Ariana Grande and 21 Savage. Gambino also recently released a music video for the song “Little Foot Big Foot” off the project.

Despite his busy touring schedule, Gambino is also preparing to release a second album this summer as a soundtrack to his upcoming movie, Bando Stone & The New World. He expressed gratitude towards his fans during a Gilga Radio stream and emphasized that the album is for them.
