French striker Kylian Mbappe is set to announce his future plans in the coming days after winning the French Cup with PSG on Saturday. The 25-year-old, who scored 256 goals in 307 games for PSG, has decided not to extend his contract with the club, which expires this summer.

Mbappe was tight-lipped about his next move after beating Lyon 2-1 in the final, but he later confirmed that he would be joining Real Madrid as a free agent this summer. The announcement of his new club is expected to come before the UEFA 2024 Euro that starts on June 14.

Looking back on his time with PSG, Mbappe expressed gratitude for the unique experience and stated that playing for the team was something he would always recommend and cherish. However, he is now ready for a new chapter that he believes will be equally magical.

Mbappe’s decision to join Real Madrid comes after rejecting previous offers from the club in the summers of 2021 and 2022. The long-anticipated partnership between Mbappe and Real Madrid is finally set to begin, bringing an exciting new chapter in Mbappe’s career.
