A 30-year-old man from Framingham was found dead behind a business on Worcester Road (Route 9) and is believed to be the victim of a suspected homicide. The man, who was an employee of the business and was working Saturday night, had obvious trauma to his body. This is the second suspicious death reported in Framingham this month, with the first being the death of Brooks Hood, 27, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, found in a Fenwick Street home on April 10.

The authorities are currently investigating the situation and have assigned a team of officers from the Framingham Police Department, Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s Office. Anyone with information about the death or who may have witnessed anything unusual in the area is urged to contact the Framingham police at 508-532-5923.

The cause and manner of death in Hood’s case are still under investigation by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The incident occurred in the area of 1 Worcester Road which is also known as Shoppers World. It’s important for public safety that anyone with information should come forward so that justice can be served for both victims and their families.
