One new trend that is gaining traction is Solar Together, a voluntary subscription program that allows customers to participate in solar energy without having to install solar panels themselves.
The program offers customers the chance to choose a plan based on their energy needs and receive credits for the energy generated by Florida solar farms. Customers pay a fixed monthly fee ranging from one kilowatt to 100% of their energy usage, and the credits received from the solar centers grow over time, resulting in returns that exceed costs by the fourth year and potentially reaching a full payback into the program by the seventh year of enrollment.
