The Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America recently held the World Beer Cup awards ceremony in Las Vegas on April 24. Four New Jersey breweries were among the winners, bringing home medals for their outstanding brews.

Kane Brewing Company in Ocean had a successful night, winning gold for their wood and barrel-aged strong stout, Dripping Maple, as well as a bronze for their Belgian fruit beer, Field and Oak Golden Raspberry. Ship Bottom Brewery in Beach Haven won gold for their golden or blonde ale, Mermaid Brown Ale, while MudHen Brewing Co. from Wildwood secured gold for their scotch ale, Wee Heavy Wilson. These breweries were among the many recognized for their brewing excellence in over 100 categories at the prestigious competition.

Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro also took home a gold medal for their American style brown ale, Lone Squirrel. The winners took to social media to express their gratitude and pride for their accomplishments. Mudhen Brewing Co. shared their excitement on Facebook, while Kane Brewing Co. thanked their team for their hard work and dedication in achieving this honor.

The World Beer Cup is a global competition that celebrates craft beer and educates consumers about different beer styles and flavor profiles. Winning a medal at this competition is a significant achievement for any brewery, showcasing their talent and creativity in the craft beer industry.
