Willie Harvey Jr., a 28-year-old linebacker, is set to work out with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday. Harvey recently made the All-UFL team while playing for the St. Louis Battlehawks this past spring. In just 10 games, he recorded an impressive 78 tackles and four sacks, leading the league in tackles while also excelling in tackles for loss, passes defensed, and forced fumbles among linebackers.

Despite his success in the UFL, Harvey has limited experience in the NFL. After signing with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2019, he spent three seasons with the team and played in just four games, primarily on special teams. However, Harvey has yet to take a snap on defense during a regular-season NFL game.

The Cowboys are currently looking for additional depth at the linebacker position, making Harvey’s workout with the team an exciting opportunity for him to showcase his skills and potentially earn a spot on an NFL roster. With his impressive track record of success in the UFL and his talent as a linebacker, Harvey could be a valuable asset to any NFL team looking to add some depth and versatility to their defense.
