Ohio State linebacker Nigel Glover has decided to return to Northwestern just a year after leaving the Wildcats for the Buckeyes. Glover had originally chosen Northwestern out of high school, but transferred to Ohio State at the beginning of last season when head coach Pat Fitzgerald was fired.

Despite being a redshirt freshman, Glover found it challenging to establish himself as a key player on the Buckeyes’ roster. With star players like C.J. Hicks, Cody Simon, Sonny Styles, and Gabe Powers returning to Ohio State this season, Glover saw limited opportunities to make an impact on the field.

On the other hand, Northwestern, under new head coach David Braun, had a surprising successful season. For Glover, returning to Northwestern seemed like the best decision for his football career. As he looks forward to his future with the Wildcats, he is excited for what lies ahead and is eager to prove himself once again on the field.
