In the FOX Sports booth during the UFL championship game between the Birmingham Stallions and San Antonio Brahmas, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady made his debut as a lead game analyst. At 46 years old, Brady recently signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports to take over for longtime announcer Greg Olsen starting in the 2024-25 season. Despite not officially starting his analyst role until the fall, Brady had the opportunity to call plays in the second quarter of Sunday night’s championship game.

Brady joined FOX announcers Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt in the booth, where he shared his insights on the game. When asked for his impressions on the championship game, Brady commented on the defensive play and the need for someone to push the ball down the field to open up the game. He emphasized the importance of making every inch of space count for offense.

This appearance came shortly after Brady’s No. 12 jersey was retired by the New England Patriots during his Hall of Fame induction in Foxborough. Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Fans were excited to see Brady take on this new role as a game analyst for FOX Sports, bringing his knowledge and expertise to broadcasting.
