The State University of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) has recently opened a new cutting-edge research center called The Beauty Center at FIT. This center will help the college to anticipate market trends, identify strategic business opportunities, and further enhance its research achievements.

Located at 520 Eighth Avenue, The Beauty Center at FIT is an extension of the widely respected program in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management (CFMM) that approaches its 25th anniversary. The center will collaborate with industry professionals, display the global research conducted by students annually, and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas through symposiums and conferences.

President Joyce F. Brown said, “We are thrilled to establish this new research center that will empower our master’s level students to contribute to the future of the beauty industry globally. We believe that this cutting-edge research center will leverage industry partnerships and enhance our existing CFMM program, enabling us to provide our students with even more valuable skills and knowledge.”
