Fiorentina is reportedly considering signing Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. With the recent appointment of Raffaele Palladino as their new head coach, Fiorentina is making plans for the summer market and is focused on strengthening their midfield.

Fiorentina is still waiting to hear from Giacomo Bonaventura regarding his future plans, as his contract with the club expires on June 30. If he does not sign an extension, he will become a free agent on July 1. In the meantime, Fiorentina is looking to secure a deal with Milan for Pobega, who struggled to find a spot in Rossoneri’s midfield under Stefano Pioli last season.

Despite only making 15 appearances in the 2023-24 season, Pobega had shown promise in the previous season, featuring in 28 matches and scoring three goals. With Fiorentina looking to bolster their midfield options, Pobega could be a valuable addition to their squad for the upcoming season.
