The race for the 2024 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car championship is heating up. David Gravel finished third in the latest race at Cedar Lake Speedway on June 29, marking his eighth consecutive top-10 finish. This strong performance allowed Gravel to gain ground on Donny Schatz, the 10-time Series champion, and take a 58-point lead in the standings.

After a week break, the Series will continue with a $20,000-to-win Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway on July 10. Landon Crawley gained 26 points on Brock Zearfoss in the latest race at Cedar Lake Speedway, moving him to ninth place and closing the gap between him and Zearfoss by just four points. Meanwhile, Michael Kofoid gained four points on Logan Schuchart for fifth place in the standings.

Bill Balog is currently seventh in points with only two points separating him from eighth place Brock Zearfoss. Landon Crawley sits ninth in points with just one point separating him from tenth place Logan Schuchart.
