In Arizona, health officials have received reports of severe health issues experienced by individuals who have consumed certain Diamond Shruumz brand products such as gummies, chocolate bars, and candy. These individuals required emergency transport, evaluation in the emergency department, and intensive care admission. At this time, six cases have been reported in Arizona and a total of twenty-six cases have been reported nationwide.

In response to these incidents, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has initiated an investigation into Diamond Shruumz products. The Arizona Department of Health Services has issued a warning to consumers advising them not to consume any Diamond Shruumz-brand chocolate bars, cones or gummies until further notice. It is recommended that any Diamond Shruumz products that consumers may have be safely disposed of or returned to the retailer where they were purchased.

It is important to note that “microdosing” products like Diamond Shruumz are not approved by the FDA, and the listed ingredients may not be accurate. This means that ingredients not listed could potentially have unknown adverse health effects. Serious adverse effects such as seizures, hallucinations and loss of consciousness have been reported in individuals who have ingested these products.

If you have consumed Diamond Shruumz products and experience any illness, it is recommended that you contact your healthcare provider or call the Poison Control helpline at 1-800-222-1222 for assistance. Stay tuned to FOX 10 Phoenix for more updates on this developing situation
