Fauquier Health, a Warrenton-based health system, has honored registered nurse Patricia Jeffries with the prestigious Mercy Award. The award is given to employees who go above and beyond in serving patients and the community. Patty, known as Patty, has been with Fauquier Health for over 30 years and is highly regarded for her leadership, dedication, and commitment to patient safety.

During Hospital Week, a ceremony was held to honor Patty and 26 other employee nominees. The Mercy Award is named after Scott Mercy, Lifepoint’s founding chairman, who believed in the power of a unified team working towards a common goal. Rebecca Segal, Fauquier Health CEO, described Patty as a great team member and a champion for patient safety. She highlighted Patty’s compassion, dedication, and honesty, stating that she inspires others with her caring nature.
