The West Lincoln community is experiencing a shift in the culinary landscape, with Fatheads, owned by Jeremy and Ashley Jackson, officially closing last week. However, a new restaurant called Grizzly Diner is set to take over the space at 990 West Lincoln Drive Southwest.

The Jacksons opened Fatheads across the street from West Lincoln Attendance Center and have two children – a daughter and another on the way. The Mississippi Department of Health has granted a new construction permit for Grizzly Diner, which will be located in the former location of Fatheads LLC.

Jeremy’s nickname, Fathead, was the inspiration for naming their previous restaurant. The Jacksons announced the closure of Fatheads in May and expressed gratitude for the support they received from the community.

Other establishments in the area are also doing well. Bumpers located at 101 US51 North earned an “A” rating for the third consecutive time, while Holiday Inn Express at 1212 Brookway Boulevard received an “A” rating for the seventh consecutive time. These updates demonstrate that businesses in West Lincoln are thriving.

Stay tuned for more updates on Grizzly Diner’s upcoming opening and other local news.
