Whenever a harsh event occurs on one of the vans – such as a harsh brake, harsh turn or crash – an instant notification is sent through Slack. This integration has streamlined Farmer’s Fridge’s standard operating procedures after an incident and allowed staff to promptly check in with drivers to ensure their safety.
Berczynski also showcased several dashcam videos during a tour of Farmer’s Fridge, highlighting how these videos serve as another crucial safety feature. They can immediately reveal whether a driver was at fault in the event of an accident or harsh event like braking or turning. This approach allows for quicker response times and better decision making when it comes to maintaining safe operations within the company.
