Farm Share and Sunshine Health joined forces to host a food distribution event in Tallahassee on Tuesday. The event took place at the Tallahassee Community Connections Center, located at 2525 S. Monroe Street, Unit 1. Residents were invited to come and pick up fresh, shelf-stable food while supplies lasted.

The distribution began at 10 a.m. and was open to all members of the community who were in need of food assistance. The event aimed to provide fresh, healthy food options for those who may not have access to them otherwise.

Farm Share is a non-profit organization that works to increase access to locally grown fruits and vegetables for low-income families. Sunshine Health is a healthcare provider that serves the Tallahassee community and offers a range of health services, including primary care, specialty care, and behavioral health services.
