On Saturday, the 30th annual Children’s Health Fair took place at Petoskey Middle School. The event, hosted by McLaren Northern Michigan, was a fun-filled day for children and families alike. From burning off energy at the Boyne Area Gymnastics station to visiting the petting zoo outside, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Live music played throughout the event, adding to the fun atmosphere, and first responder vehicles outside gave children the opportunity to explore. Families could take advantage of various stations set up with activities such as a CPR dummy and a petting station with baby chicks and rabbits. Children also had the chance to participate in a Super Hero Fun Run.

The event promoted health and wellness for the community, with different services offered for families and children to take advantage of. Readers who want more information about the event can contact reporter Karly Graham at kgraham@petoskeynews.com or follow her on Twitter at @KarlyGrahamJRN.
