Jaryd Jones-Smith, a talented offensive lineman, has been signed by the Atlanta Falcons. He was previously named to the All-UFL team after playing for the St. Louis Battlehawks in the United Football League this spring. Jones-Smith also played for the Battlehawks in the XFL.

Jones-Smith began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018, initially signing with the Texans. Since then, he has also spent time with the Dolphins, 49ers, Ravens, Raiders, and Commanders. In his NFL career, Jones-Smith has played a total of six games, splitting his time between the Raiders in 2020 and the Ravens in 2021.

Throughout his career, Jones-Smith has primarily seen action on special teams, playing two offensive snaps and 27 on special teams in the regular season. With the Falcons, he is expected to provide depth at the tackle position behind Jake Matthews, Kaleb McGary, and Storm Norton. This signing bolsters the team’s offensive line and adds experience to their roster.
