The Atlanta Falcons have finalized contracts for their 2024 draft picks, with the exception of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. who remains unsigned. The team signed defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus to a four-year deal and added second-round pick Ruke Orhorhoro and sixth-round pick Zion Logue in the April draft. With these new signings, the Falcons are looking to strengthen their defense for the upcoming season.

Dorlus, who played for Oregon for the last five seasons, earned recognition by being named to two All-Pac 12 teams during his time with the Ducks. Over the last three seasons, he started in 40 games and showcased his skills with 89 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 12 passes defensed.

The Falcons are eager to add more depth to their defensive line and hope that Dorlus will be able to contribute significantly in that area. In addition to Dorlus, they also signed second-round pick Ruke Orhorhoro and sixth-round pick Zion Logue in the April draft. These new signings are expected to help solidify the team’s defense for next season.
