A new eye health science museum has opened in the city, aimed at educating people of all ages about the importance of eye care. The museum features interactive exhibits, specially designed models, and multimedia projects to make learning fun and easy to understand. Visitors can learn about the structure of eyes, the causes of eye diseases, and even experience how scenes appear to people with different eye disorders. Additionally, the museum sheds light on the challenges faced by blind individuals.

The Shanghai Children’s Foundation has designated the Ai’er Eye Health Science Museum as a youth education base in the city. They plan to organize both online and offline education programs to teach students and their families about proper eye protection and myopia prevention and control. This summer, a series of educational events will be held, with schools being invited to visit the eye museum for health education. The initiative is backed by officials from the foundation and Shanghai Ai’er Eye Hospital, the founders of the museum.
