A playtest for a new PVPVE game called SAND is currently underway and it’s available for free if you sign up today. In SAND, players are transported to the desolate deserts of the fallen planet Sophie, where they must navigate treacherous terrain and discover valuable resources.

The game takes place in an alternate history version of 1910, after an ecological disaster struck the planet Sophie and caused settlers to abandon the resource-rich world. Players assume the roles of individuals from the Austro-Hungarian Empire who journey to planet Sophie in search of hidden wealth in the barren wastelands, hoping to change their lives.

The official release date for SAND has not yet been announced, but being published by tinyBuild suggests that more information may be revealed at upcoming gaming events. The number of players allowed in the playtest depends on the developers’ capacity and server performance. A full beta is expected to start on Steam sometime this summer, allowing even more players to experience the game.

If you’re interested in joining the playtest or learning more about SAND, keep an eye out for updates on Steam and upcoming gaming events. The game offers a unique experience set in an intriguing universe that combines exploration, resource management, and competitive gameplay.
