In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the status of women in STEM fields, such as astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, earth sciences, health sciences, information technology, mathematics, and physics, two surveys were created. One survey was designed for students and the other for professionals in these fields.

These surveys encompass various important topics including educational background, career advancement, balancing work and personal life, discrimination, harassment, barriers to leadership, and gender wage disparities. By collecting data from a diverse range of participants, these surveys seek to uncover global patterns as well as unique challenges faced by women in different regions.

The initiative aims to provide a holistic view of the experiences and obstacles encountered by women pursuing careers in STEM fields. By highlighting areas where improvement is needed, these surveys can help inform policies and initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and diversity in STEM industries.
