The Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF) has appointed David Blackwell as its new Lynn Pippenger Dean. Blackwell, who joins USF from the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics, will be responsible for providing leadership to the college, which is home to around 8,400 students, nearly 180 faculty members, and over 110 staff members spread across USF’s three campuses.

Prior to his time at the University of Kentucky, Blackwell held various positions at institutions such as Texas A&M University, the University of Georgia, the University of Houston, and Emory University. With his wealth of experience in academia, Blackwell is well-equipped to lead the Muma College of Business to even greater success.
