Linkon Cure, a five-star tight end, is set to reveal his college decision on July 1 during the 247Sports Football Recruiting Show at 5 p.m. ET. Kansas State is currently leading the race for Cure, who hails from Goodland High School in Kansas, with all five of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions in their favor. Cure is ranked as the No. 2 tight end and the No. 26 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 Top247 rankings.

Cure’s other finalists include Oregon, Texas A&M, and Kansas, with him having visited each of these schools from Memorial Day to now. However, it was Kansas State that received his final official visit on June 21. If he chooses to attend Kansas State, he would become their highest-rated recruit ever, surpassing previous signees like Chris Boggas.

Cure is a standout athlete in multiple sports at Goodland High School. In track and field, he won two state championships in the 300-meter hurdles and was a state qualifier in various events. In basketball, he averaged an impressive 11.2 points per game as a junior and helped lead his team to a state title game appearance. On the football field, Cure was named an All-State selection after an outstanding junior season with 42 catches for 946 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Greg Biggins from 247Sports has praised Cure for his elite route-running ability, separation off the snap, success in contested catches, after-the-catch ability, and potential to improve his blocking skills at the next level. Regardless of where he decides to go
