Jayden Shipps, a highly-regarded cornerback prospect in the Wisconsin class of 2025, is set to make an official visit to the Badgers this upcoming weekend. The program extended an offer to Shipps on January 17th, and he currently plays for Archbishop Spalding High School in Maryland.

According to 247Sports’ composite ranking, Shipps is the No. 1002 player in the class of 2025, the 86th cornerback, and the 26th recruit from Maryland. He has received 19 Division 1 offers, including from schools like Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Maryland. Wisconsin is one of the final seven schools on his list, along with Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, NC State, Virginia, and Maryland.

Shipps already has official visits scheduled with Maryland and NC State and is projected to land at Maryland according to 247Sports’ crystal ball. The six-foot-one athlete is an exciting prospect for college programs looking to secure his commitment.

Wisconsin’s class of 2025 currently ranks No. 19 in the nation with eleven players committed. Among those committed players is three-star cornerback Jaimier Scott from Cincinnati, Ohio. Shipps’ official visit to Wisconsin will be an important opportunity for the program to showcase what they have to offer him as a potential recruit.
