At ISC 2024, our group was taken on a tour of the Eviden booth, which was a hub of activity as it was the focal point for Europe’s leading HPC-AI systems vendor. The tour began with a business and customer update from Emmanuel Le Roux, Eviden Group SVP and Head of Advanced Computing & AI. He shared news about new contract wins in countries like Brazil, Denmark (with Novo Nordisk), and Germany (extension of Eviden’s exascale contract with the Julich Supercomputing Centre), as well as updates on current customers like the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

During the tour, he highlighted Eviden’s progress in the TOP500 list of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and the Green500 list of energy-efficient HPC systems. The Eviden JEDI development system at Julich, which is part of the upcoming Jupiter exascale supercomputer, claimed the top spot on the list. We also heard from other senior company managers about Eviden’s range of HPC-AI servers, from edge AI inference to data center HPC-class servers for model training. They also spoke about Eviden’s quantum computing technology and the cloud-based Jarvice as-a-service product line.
