Everton is reportedly in discussions with both Marseille and Newcastle regarding the potential signing of two different players, Iliman Ndiaye and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, respectively. While talks with Marseille are progressing positively, a deal for the Senegal international has not yet been finalized. On the other hand, discussions with Newcastle have broken down, with Calvert-Lewin attracting interest from other clubs.

Ndiaye joined Marseille last summer for £20m but only managed to score four goals in 46 games. However, he played a key role in Sheffield United’s promotion to the Premier League the previous season, tallying 14 goals and 10 assists. His potential addition could provide Everton with another attacking option, especially after the departure of Lewis Dobbin to Aston Villa.

Young expressed his excitement to stay at Everton, emphasizing his determination, hunger, and belief to continue performing at the highest level. As Young and club captain Seamus Coleman sign new contracts, Dyche’s squad is gradually taking shape for the upcoming season.
