Everton is set to acquire Cameroon international Jackson Tchatchoua from Hellas Verona for around €8m, following the successful financial moves of Director of Sport Sean Sogliano. The sale could potentially triple the amount that Verona paid for Tchatchoua last summer when they acquired him on loan from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club with an option to buy that was eventually exercised for €3m.

Tchatchoua, who will turn 23 in September, is a versatile player who primarily plays as a right-back but can also play in other positions. He has earned two senior caps for Cameroon and featured in 27 matches for Verona last season in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. During his time with the club, he provided two assists and showcased his skill and potential on the field. With this potential sale to Everton, Verona seems to have maximized their acquisition of Tchatchoua, making a significant profit in the process.
