In a bid to expand its cybersecurity platform offerings for government and enterprise clients, Everfox, formerly known as Forcepoint Federal, has announced its agreement to acquire London-based Garrison Technology. The transaction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024, pending regulatory review and other closing conditions.

As part of its rebranding in January, Everfox, based in Herndon, Virginia, dedicated itself to developing and delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions to federal government customers. This acquisition aligns with Everfox’s goal of growth and innovation in the industry.

CEO Sean Berg of Everfox expressed excitement about incorporating Garrison’s hardsec and software solutions into their existing portfolio. Having worked with Garrison as a partner for several years, Everfox sees the technology as a valuable addition to their software cross domain solutions for connecting high-threat networks in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Founded in 2014 by CEO David Garfield and Chief Scientist Henry Harrison, Garrison Technology offers hardware-enforced security and software capabilities to government and commercial clients seeking to enhance their digital transformation initiatives. Their ULTRA browser isolation platform is designed to safeguard organizations against phishing, ransomware, and other web-related threats.

Citi served as the financial adviser to Everfox throughout the acquisition process, facilitating the transaction that brings together the strengths of both companies in the cybersecurity space.
