In a strategic move to enhance global resilience in the face of increasing cyber threats from sophisticated actors, Everfox, a cybersecurity firm backed by TPG, has announced its acquisition of London-based Garrison Technology Ltd. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Everfox, formerly known as Forcepoint Federal, is headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and specializes in government security solutions. Garrison Technology Ltd was founded in 2014 by CEO David Garfield and Chief Scientist Henry Harrison. TPG, a financial advisory company based in Fort Worth, Texas, was founded in 1992.

TPG’s partner Tim Millikin emphasized that the operating environment for defense and intelligence communities has become more complex with cyber threats growing in frequency. He noted that Garrison’s technology combined with Everfox’s expertise in government security creates a powerful solution to address these challenges.

Citi served as the financial advisor to Everfox on the deal. This acquisition is seen as a strategic move by Everfox to expand its reach and enhance its capabilities in providing advanced cybersecurity solutions to its clients worldwide.
