The ECUP Gamer Tournament, Peru’s largest amateur eSports event, returns for its third edition with a prize pool exceeding 35,000 soles. This year, the tournament is organized by the Technological University of Peru (UTP) and will feature four popular video games: DOTA 2, ValuingEfootball, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Peruvian gamers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for incredible prizes in these video games. The virtual phase of the tournament will kick off in early July for participants from UTP headquarters in Chiclayo, Huancayo, Chimbote, Piura, Ica, Arequipa, and Trujillo. The semifinals will be held in these cities, with the grand final set to take place in Lima.

The winner of the individual Efootball tournament will receive 7,000 soles while champions in the other video games will be awarded 10,000 soles per team. Cash prizes aside, winners will gain recognition and visibility in the Peruvian eSports scene.

ECUP Gamer Tournament provides a platform for Peruvian gamers to showcase their talents and compete professionally.” The university aims to promote teamwork, healthy competition and new skill development among its students and the gaming community at large through various activities such as gaming workshops
