Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been accused of genocide by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz. Katz made these accusations on his social media account, citing several historical conflicts in which Turkey is involved. He pointed out that Erdogan has murdered Kurdish citizens, occupied northern Cyprus, and committed crimes against humanity.

Erdogan has been critical of Israel following an attack on a displaced persons camp in Rafah. He accused Israel of launching missiles and bombs against civilians, ignoring calls from the International Court of Justice to cease these attacks. Erdogan condemned Israel for what he described as a genocidal act and called Netanyahu and his government “murderers” and “barbarians” who lack humanity.

Erdogan pledged to hold Israel accountable for their actions and compared Netanyahu to historical figures like Hitler, Milosevic, and Karadzic. He emphasized Turkey’s commitment to seeking justice for the Palestinians and condemned Israel for their ongoing violence in the region. The tensions between Turkey and Israel continue to escalate as both sides exchange accusations and condemn each other’s actions.
